Prep and Lower Primary
Prep
Trinity Beach State School celebrates the importance of early years education through a high quality prep program - designed to give children the best foundations for future success.
The quality of learning experiences in a child’s earliest years play a significant role in setting the foundations for lifelong development, including language acquisition, participation and achievement in formal schooling as well as social and emotional skills development.
Trinity Beach State School’s Prep program launches children into a vibrant and stimulating world of active exploration.
Children engage in an enriched learning environment that promotes self-discovery, social awareness and independence.
Our approach focuses on the development of fundamental literacy and numeracy skills as children pursue their individual interests and follow their natural curiosity.
Prep at Trinity Beach State School provides children with a seamless transition into formal education.
Phases of Learning
Trinity Beach State School approaches each phase of your child’s primary education as a unique, foundational step in their extended education pathway.
From our Prep program to our learning support and enrichment programs, our curriculum challenges and extends all students in their individual academic and personal growth.
Lower Primary
During Years 1–2, Trinity Beach State School focuses on developing our students’ passion for learning, creativity and self-confidence.
In these early years, we recognise the importance of every child developing a balanced and relevant set of core literacy and numeracy skills. Our teachers provide explicit instruction in these fundamental skills, as well as embedding them into the wider, child-centred curriculum.
Trinity Beach State School’s Lower Primary program provides students with the fundamental skills and attitudes that will underpin their later academic and personal achievement.
